Patents Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Patents Act 1952.

Schedule 2

Schedule 2 to the Patents Regulations is amended by omitting item 30 and substituting the following items:

“30 On lodging a request for information under section 30 of the Act, other than:

(a) information that entails a search of the kind referred to in subregulation 87 (2) or (3); or

(b) a request referred to in item 30a;

for each application, patent or document

30a On making a request for a computer printout of information under section 30 of the Act about a patent or a patent application
