REGULATIONS UNDER THE PATENTS ACT 1903-1935.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Patents Act 1903-1935.

Amendments of the Patents Regulations 1912.  

1.Regulation 5 of the Patents Regulations 1912 is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—

Hours of business.

“5. Except in the case of holidays observed under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1945, the Patent Office shall be open to the public on week days (other than Saturdays) from ten o’clock in the morning to four o’clock in the afternoon.”

Extension of time in certain cases.

2. Regulation 182b of the Patents Regulations 1912 is amended by omitting the word “Saturday” and inserting in its stead the words “day on which the Patent Office is not open to the public”.
