An Act to amend The Patent Act, 1877."

HEREAS it is expedient to amend " The Patent Act, 1877 " Pre8mble.

1. From and after the as sing of this Act the seczions of The

Patent Act, 1877," hereinafter mentiol~ed sl~all be altered and amended as follows-

Section 4 shall be read and have effect as if the words " Devart- Amendment of certain

first and second lines thereof, in lieu of the words " Depnrt-	L
ment of the Chief Secretary."

Section 6 shall be read and have effect as if the words 'L The

Secretary to the Attorney-General " were therein inserted in the first line thereof, in lieu of the words " The Under Secretary."

Section 25 shall be read and have effect as if the words Five

Pounds Five Shillings " were therein inserted in the seventh line thereof, in lieu of the words " Ten Pounds."

2. This Act and "The Patent Act, 1877," except in so far as b p o r a t i o n.

the same is altered by this Act, shall bc incorporated, and read

and construed together accordingly.
