REGULATION UNDER THE PASSPORTS ACT 1938.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with, the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Passports Act 1938.

Amendment of the Passport Regulations. 

Regulation 6 of the Passport Regulations is amended—

Form of Australian passports.

(a)by inserting in sub-regulation (1.), after the word “passport”, the words “other than a diplomatic or official passport”; and

(b) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—

“(3.) A diplomatic or official passport shall be in accordance with such a form as is approved by the Minister.”.
