Passenger Transport Act 2014, make the following Order on behalf of TfNSW.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to amend the Passenger Transport (Opal and Other Fares) Order 2016 to specify maximum fares for the following services (supplied in accordance with an approved payment device):

(a)	off-peak rail passenger services (other than light rail services),
(b)	bus services.

This Order is made under section 125 of the Passenger Transport Act 2014.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Passenger Transport (Opal and Other Fares) Amendment

(Approved Payment Devices) Order 2019.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 29 July 2019 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Passenger Transport (Opal and Other Fares) Order 2016

(1) Schedule 1 Fares

Omit the matter relating to “Approved payment device” from Part 1. Insert instead:
