Passenger Transport Amendment

(Authorised Persons) Regulation 2011

Passenger Transport Act 1990

The Administrator, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Passenger Transport Act 1990.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe persons employed in the Roads and Maritime Services Division of the Government Service as persons to whom functions under the Passenger Transport Act 1990 may be delegated.

This Regulation is made under the Passenger Transport Act 1990, including sections 62A and 63 (the general regulation-making power).

Passenger Transport Amendment (Authorised Persons)

Regulation 2011

Passenger Transport Act 1990

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Passenger Transport Amendment (Authorised
Persons) Regulation 2011.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the commencement of Schedule 1 [22] to the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2011 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Passenger Transport Regulation 2007

Clause 239A

Omit the clause. Insert instead:

239A Delegation to authorised persons

For the purposes of section 62A of the Act, the following persons are prescribed:

(a) persons employed in the State Transit Authority Division of the Government Service,
(b) persons employed in the Roads and Maritime Services Division of the Government Service.
