Passenger Transport Amendment

(Authorised Officers) Regulation 2008

Passenger Transport Act 1990

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Passenger Transport Act 1990.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe members of staff of Railcorp as a class of persons who may be appointed as authorised officers for the purposes of the Passenger Transport Act 1990.

This Regulation is made under the Passenger Transport Act 1990, including sections 46W and 63 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Passenger Transport Amendment (Authorised
Officers) Regulation 2008.

2 Amendment of Passenger Transport Regulation 2007

The Passenger Transport Regulation 2007 is amended by inserting at the end of clause 239 (Authorised officers):

(d)

persons employed by Rail Corporation New South Wales.
