PASSENGER TRANSPORT AMENDMENT ACT 1997 No 72—
PROCLAMATION
(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section
2 of the Passenger Transport Amendment Act 1997, do, by this my
Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1998 as the day on which so much of Schedule
1 [11] to that Act as inserts section 11A into the Passenger Transport Act
1990 commences.

E X P L A N A T O R Y N O T E
The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining uncommenced provision
of the Passenger Transport Amendment Act 1997 which inserts section 11A into the Passenger Transport Act 1990. That section deals with the issue and renewal of a driver's
authority for a public passenger vehicle.
