Partnership Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2009

Partnership Act 1892
Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Partnership Act 1892.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:
| (a) | to reduce certain fees payable under the Partnership Act 1892 (the Act) in respect of limited and incorporated limited partnerships (those partnerships) so as to be comparable with similar fees payable in other Australian jurisdictions, and |
| (b) | to increase certain other fees payable under the Act in respect of those partnerships. |
The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (rounded
to the nearest whole dollar).
This Regulation is made under the Partnership Act 1892, including sections 73E (5) and 81
(the general regulation-making power) and, in particular, section 81 (2) (d).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Partnership Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2009.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2009 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
