Part 66 Manual of Standards Amendment Instrument 2018 (No. 1)

1          Name of instrument

This instrument is the Part 66 Manual of Standards Amendment Instrument 2018 (No. 1).

2          Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3          Amendment of Part 66 Manual of Standards

Schedule 1 amends the Part 66 Manual of Standards.

[1]       After section 66.A.70

Part 3      Transitional provisions

66.A.100Transitional provision for Part 66 Manual of Standards Amendment Instrument 2018 (No. 1)

(1)     If:

(a)   immediately before the commencement day, a person held a unit of competency (the previous unit) mentioned in the table in Appendix IV of this MOS; and

(b)   the relevant instrument replaces the previous unit with a new version of the unit of competency (the new unit);

the person is taken to hold the new unit.

(2)     In this section:

commencement day means the day on which the relevant instrument commences.

relevant instrument means the Part 66 Manual of Standards Amendment Instrument 2018 (No. 1).
