An Act to authorize the enclosure of a portion of Factory-street in the Town of Parramatta. [9̂ /i October, 1867.]

Preamble.

'VYT'HEUEAS it is expedient that the portion hereinafter described

of the street known as Eactory-street in the Town of Parra­ matta should he stopped as a public highway and that the right of way thereover hitherto enjoyed by the public should be legally extinguished and that Her Majesty should be enabled to alienate or otherwise deal with the land forming such portion of the said street as hereinafter described free and clear of such right of way Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty by and wdth the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

notified in the Government Gazette of the thirty-first January one thousand eight hundred and sixty) as extends from the left bank of the Parramatta Bivcr along the north-western wall of the Eactory to the Old Mill-race And from and after such enclosure all right of way over the said piece of land shall be for ever extinguished and such portion so enclosed may free and clear of such right of way be used enjoyed alienated or otherwise dealt with by Her Majesty Her Heirs and Successors.
