1Name of Notice

This Notice is the Parole Orders (Transfer) (Corresponding Laws) Notice 2014.

2Commencement

This Notice commences on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.

3Definition

In this Notice:

the Act means the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983.

4Declaration of laws as corresponding laws

The following laws are declared to be corresponding laws for the purposes of the Act:

• (a)

  Crimes (Sentence Administration) Act 2005 of the Australian Capital Territory,

• (b)

  Parole Orders (Transfer) Act of the Northern Territory,

• (c)

  Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1984 of Queensland,

• (d)

  Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 of South Australia,

• (e)

  Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 of Tasmania,

• (f)

  Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 of Victoria,

• (g)

  Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1984 of Western Australia.

5Revocation of previous notices

Any previous notices declaring laws to be corresponding laws for the purposes of the Act are revoked.
