PAROLE ORDERS (TRANSFER)

AMENDMENT ACT

No. 33 of 1988

AN ACT to amend the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1984.

[Assented to 24 November 1988]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Parole Orders (Transfer) Amendment

Act 1988.

Commencement

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

Section 3 amended

3. Section 3 of the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1984* is amended by inserting after the definition of "designated authority", the following definition-

" "judgment or order" includes a direction, declaration, calendar or list and certificate of the Clerk of Arraigns, warrant of commitment or any other authority; ".
