An Ordinance to amend the Parole Orders (Transfer) Ordinance 1983

Short title

1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Parole Orders (Transfer) (Amendment) Ordinance 1987.1

Principal Ordinance

2.  In this Ordinance, “Principal Ordinance” means the Parole Orders (Transfer) Ordinance 1983.2

Documents to accompany requests

3.  Section 7 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by inserting in paragraph (1) (b) “or a certificate of conviction or warrant of commitment that is evidence, or shows, that the parolee became liable to that imprisonment” after “relates”.

Registration

4.  Section 9 of the Principal Ordinance is amended:

(a)by omitting from subparagraph (2) (c) (ii) “or a copy of that judgment or order” and substituting “or a certificate of conviction or warrant of commitment that is evidence, or shows, that the parolee became liable to that imprisonment, or a copy of that judgment, order, certificate of conviction or warrant of commitment”; and

(b)by omitting from subsection (3) “or order” and substituting “, order, certificate of conviction or warrant of commitment”.
