An Act to apply certain sums out of the Consolidated Fund towards the services o f the Legislature for the year 1995-1996. [Assented to 25 September 1995]

Section 1 Parliamentary Supply Act 1995 No 35

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Name of Act

This Act is the Parliamentary Supply Act 1995.

Commencement

This Act commences on the date of assent.

$14,211,000 may be issued out of the Consolidated Fund for

recurrent services

Out of the Consolidated Fund there is hereby appropriated and may be issued and applied the sum of $14,211,000 to defray the expenses of the Legislature during the months of October, November and December of the financial year ending 30 June 1996, subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of that year.

$586,000 may be issued out of the Consolidated Fund for

capital works and services

Out of the Consolidated Fund there is hereby appropriated and may be issued and applied the sum of $586,000 to meet the capital works and services expenditure of the Legislature during the months of October, November and December of the financial year ending 30 June 1996, subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of that year.

Treasurer's authority to pay su m s appropriated

The Treasurer may issue and pay the sums appropriated by this Act in such manner and in such proportions as may be necessary in the public interest to provide for expenditure for the purposes referred to in sections 3 and 4.
