AN ACT to amend section twenty-eight of the

Parliamentary Superannuation Act, 1970.

[Assented to 1st December, 1971.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Parlia-	Short title
and citation.

(2) The Parliamentary Superannuation Act, 1970 is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Superannuation Act, 1970-1971.

ment. 2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into

operation on the thirtieth day of December, 1970.

Subsection (2) of section 28 of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the passage, "thirty-first day of December, 1970" in line three, the passage, "thirtieth day of June, 1971".
