An Act providing for the membership of parliamentary standing committees

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Standing Committees (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 1999 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Public Accounts Committee Act 1970 amended Section 2(4) of the Public Accounts Committee Act 1970 is amended as follows: (a) by inserting in paragraph (c) "or" after "Assembly;"; (b) by omitting paragraph (d) . 4Public Works Committee Act 1914 amended Section 3(3) of the Public Works Committee Act 1914 is amended as follows: (a) by omitting ", and Chairman of Committees"; (b) by omitting "and Chairman of Committees" second occurring. 5Subordinate Legislation Committee Act 1969 amended Section 3(4) of the Subordinate Legislation Committee Act 1969 is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from paragraph (c) "Assembly; or" and substituting "Assembly."; (b) by omitting paragraph (d) .
