Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation
(Vehicle) Regulations 1996
The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the
advice of the Executive Council makes the following
Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to allow for
the provision of vehicles to members of
Parliament.
2. Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 8 of the
Parliamentary Salaries and SuperannuationAct 1968.
3. Provision of Vehicles
(1) A member of Parliament who contributes at the
rate of $508 per annum will be provided with the
use of a four cylinder vehicle.

(2) A member of Parliament who contributes at the
rate of $711 per annum will be provided with the
use of a six cylinder vehicle.
4. Terms and Conditions
The provision and use of vehicles provided in
accordance with regulation 3 is subject to the
terms and conditions contained in the document
"Members of Parliament Vehicle Plan—
Information Booklet—Version 1".
The following table of applied, adopted or incorporated matter is included in
accordance with the requirements of regulation 6 of the SubordinateLegislation Regulations 1994.
