| it enacted hy the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, _£ J hy and with the advice and consent of the Legis lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in rariiaraent asscmihled, and hy the authority of the same, as follows :—^ | No. 20. |
1 . This Act shall commence on the first day of Commence-
Novemher, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and may he cited as the “ Parliamentary Representatives Allowance and Ministers’ Salaries (Amendment) Act, 1920.”
| 2. Section twenty-eight of the Constitution Act, a | . nendment |
1902, as amended hy section two of the Parlianien- tion Actf" tary Representatives Allowance Act, 1912, is further 1802, s. 28. amended—
| (a) | hy omitting the words “five hundred” and hy inserting in lieu thereof the words “ eight hundred and seventy-five ” ; and |
| (h) | hy omitting the words “ or until Parliament is dissolved or expires hy cllluxion of time,” and hy inserting in lieu thereof the words “ or, where Parliament has hecu dissolved or has expired hy cllluxion of time, until the day ap[)ointed for taking the poll for the next general election.” |
3 . Suhsection one of section J'orty-one of the Con- Amendment,
stitution Act, 1902, as amtmded l)y suhsection one of section two of tlie Ministers’ Salaries Act, 1908, is further amended hy omitting the words “ twenty thousand three liundred ” and hy inserting in lieu thereof the Avords “ tAventy-one thousand tAVO luindred and forty-five.”
4. The Second Schedule to the Constitution Act, Amendment,
1902, as amendtul l)y section four of the Ministers’ Salaries Act, 1908, is further amended hy omitting all
AA'ords after the Avords “ Second Scliediile,” and hy inserting in lieu thereof the folloAA'ing AVords :—
