s1 2 s4 Parliamentary Members’ Salaries Amendment No. 184, 1996 (No. 1) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Parliamentary Members’ Salaries Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the ParliamentaryMembers’SalariesRegulation 1995 . ˙ Replacement of s 2 (Committee prescribed for payment of additional salaries) 3. Section 2— omit, insert — ˙ ‘ Committees prescribed for payment of additional salaries ‘ 2.(1) For the Act, section 5(3), 1 each committee in the schedule is prescribed. ‘ (2) The Criminal Justice Committee is taken to have been prescribed for the Act, section 5(3), on 24 April 1996. ‘ (3) Subsection 2 and this subsection expire on the day after they commence.’. ˙ Insertion of new schedule 4. After section 2— insert — 1 Section 5 (Rates of additional salaries)
