  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Parliamentary Entitlements Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 2).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Parliamentary Entitlements Regulations 1997

Schedule 1 amends the Parliamentary Entitlements Regulations 1997.

(2)The class of travel entitlement of the member may be downgraded for either or both of the following purposes:

(a)to offset the cost of the fare of an accompanying spouse;

(b)to enable travel to be extended for purposes related to Parliamentary or electorate business.
