PARLIAMENTARY ELECTORATES AND ELECTIONS (AMENDMENT) ACT 1991 NO. 14—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections (Amendment) Act 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 10 April 1992 as the day on which that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections (Amendment) Act 1991 which amends the Principal Act to require the Electoral Commissioner to advertise an application for the registration of a political party and to take into consideration any objection received within 14 days before deciding whether to register the party.
