1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to revoke the Parliamentary Committees Regulations 2003.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 52 of the Parliamentary Committees Act 2003.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2013.

4Revocation

The Parliamentary Committees Regulations 2003[1] are revoked.

1.     General Information

The Parliamentary Committees Revocation Regulations 2013, S.R. No. 85/2013 were made on 25 June 2013 by the Governor in Council under section 52 of the Parliamentary Committees Act 2003, No. 110/2003 and came into operation on 1 July 2013: regulation 3.

The Parliamentary Committees Revocation Regulations 2013 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 25 June 2023 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).

There are no amendments made to the Parliamentary Committees Revocation Regulations 2013 by statutory rules, subordinate instruments and Acts.

3.     Explanatory Details
