AN ACT to further amend the Parliamentary Allowances
Act, 1911.

This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Allow- ances Act Amendment Act, 1925, and shall be read as one
with the Parliamentary Allowances Act, 1911, herein-
after referred to as the principal Act.
Amendment of

(1) From and after the commencement of this Act the allowance to each member of the Legislative Council and of the Legislative Assembly, payable under para- graphs (a) and (b) of section three of the principal Act, as amended by the Act No. 63 of 1919, shall be increased by two hundred pounds a year.
(2) The words " but while in receipt of such allowance shall not receive any allowance under section three " in subsections (1) and (2) of section six of the principal Act, and the proviso to section two of the Parliamentary Allowances Act Amendment Act, 1919, shall not apply to the allowance of two hundred a year as an increase in the allowance to members as enacted by this Act.
