Papua New Guinea (Staffing Assistance)

(Superannuation) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Papua New Guinea (Staffing Assistance) Act 1973.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Papua New Guinea (Staffing Assistance) (Superannuation) Regulations.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 111a of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (2) “6 State” and substituting “8”.

Increases in pensions

3. Regulation 111b of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from subregulation (1) “6 State” (wherever occurring) and “1974” and substituting “8” and “1985” respectively; and

(b) by omitting from subregulation (3) “6 State” (wherever occurring) and “1974” and substituting “8” and “1985” respectively.
