STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE PAPUA AND NEW GUINEA BOUNTIES ACT 1937.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Papua and New Guinea Bounties Regulations.
“bounty” means bounty under the Act;
“Collector” means Collector of Customs and includes a Sub-Collector of Customs;
“the Act” means the
Papua and New Guinea Bounties Act 1937, and if that Act is at any time amended, includes that Act as so amended.
(2.) In these Regulations, any reference to a Form shall be read as a reference to a Form contained in the Schedule to these Regulations.
(
a ) to give any notice or to make any claim on his behalf for the purposes of the Act or of these Regulations; and(
b ) to receive payment of bounty on his behalf and to give an effectual receipt therefor.

(
a ) may give any notice or make any claim on behalf of his principal for the purposes of the Act and of these Regulations; or(
b ) may be paid bounty on behalf of his principal and may give a receipt therefor,
as the case may be, and any notice or receipt so given and any claim or payment so made shall be as valid and effectual as if it had been given or made by or to the principal.
