An
Act to amend the Papua and New Guinea
Bounties Act 1926.
[Assented to 7th December, 1936.]
BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent
Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of
Australia, as follows:—
Short
title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Papua and New Guinea Bounties Act 1936.
(2.) The Papua
and New Guinea Bounties Act 1926* is in this Act referred to as the
Principal Act.
(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may
be cited as the Papua and New Guinea
Bounties Act 1926–1936.
Appropriation
for payment of bounty.
2. Section two of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the word
“ten” and inserting in its stead the word “eleven”.
Amendments
of the Schedule.
3. The Schedule to the Principal Act is amended by omitting the
figures “10” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the figures “11”.
