PAIN

v

THE QUEEN

[2023] HCASL 63
B64/2022

  1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Queensland (Mullins P, Morrison JA and Flanagan J) dismissing an appeal against conviction in the District Court of Queensland.

  2. The proposed ground of appeal does not enjoy sufficient prospects of success to warrant a grant of special leave to appeal. The application also does not raise a question of public importance.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
