An Act to vest certain lands in the M etropolitan Board of W ater Supply and Sewerage, w ith certain powers to sell and lease the sam e; to vest certain other lands in the Borough of Paddington for the purpose of constructing and opening certain public w ay s ; and for purposes consequent on or incidental to

1. This Act may be cited as the “ Paddington Streets E x te n s io n Short title.
Act, 1900.”
2. The land described in Schedule One (except so much of th e Land in Sche<luie
said land as is by this Act vested in the borough of Paddington, and fmisewerageSteâ ^̂ land in that section mentioned.
so much of the said land as has been sold by the Metropolitan Board with certain
of Wider Stipply and Sewerage) is hereby vested for an estate in fee-
simple in the Metro])olitan Board of WMter Supply and Sewerage, free
from all trusts, dedications, rights of way and easements affecting the
siime, and such board shall, in respect of the said land, have the same
powers of selling, transferring, conveying, and leasing the same as are
by section seventeen of tbe Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Act
3. The lands described in Schedules Two, Three, and Four are Lai'ds vested in
hereby vested in the borough of Paddington for an estate in fee-simple pa'hiuigton.
subject to the following conditions:—
{(i) The said borough shall, within three years after the commence ment of this A(‘t, construct and open for traffic a public way on the land described in Schedule Two between Goodhope-street and the Bayswater-road.
(5) The said council shall, within six months after the commence ment of this Act, construct and open for traffic public ways on the rest of the lands described in Schedules Two, Three, and OPour.

Paddington Streets Extension.
Board of Water Supply and Sewerage on or under the lands described in Schedules Two, Three, and Four, the Crown and the constructing authority for such works and the said board shall, until the streets are opened on such lands, have the same powers, and in the exercise of such powers shall be subject to the same liabilities, as if the said lands were streets.

All that piece or parcel of land situated near Rushcutter’s Bay, in the parish of Alexandria, county of Cumberland, and Colony of Now South Wales, containing an area of 2 acres 2 roods 8 perches, and forming part of the land resumed for sewerage purposes in Government Gazettes of the 8th April, 1881, No. 153, and 21st October, 1881, No. 422: Commencing at a point bearing south 69 degrees 41 minutes east and distant 259j'*o links from trigonometrical station No. 650, the position of which is marked by an iron plug set in a large stone which is bedded into the ground in front of the dwelling-house of Alexander Brown; bounded thence on the north-west by the resumption boundary being lines bearing north 49 degrees 54 minutes east for 617 links, north 50 degrees 4 | minutes east for 164/„ links; thence by lines bearing north 38 degrees 3 9 | minutes east for 324^’̂ links, and north 29 degrees 47 minutes east for l,305i^o links to Bays water Road; thence on the north-east by Bays water Road, as

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the parish of Alexandria, county of Cumberland, and Colony of New South Wales, being portion of the land resumed for sewerage purposes in Government Gazette No. 171, dated 22nd March, 1889: Com mencing at a point on the western boundary of Alma-street, being the first angle in that street after it leaves Glenmore Eoad, and distant from said road about 280 links; and bounded'thence on the south by lines bearing north-westerly 302 degrees 34 minutes, and 276 degrees 43 minutes 37 seconds for distances of 141i“,fj, links and 241 A , l i n k s respectively, to Goodhope-street; thence on the west by the eastern boundary of that street, being a lino bearing north-easterly 9 degrees 40 minutes 40 seconds for distances of 47^0- links, and a line curving westerly having a radius of 100 links for a distance of 5 4 links; thence on the north by lines bearing south easterly 95 degrees 43 minutes and 97 degrees 11 minutes 52 seconds for distances of 116,A and 271/,,% links respectively to Alma-street; and thence on the east by the western boundary of that street, being a line bearing south-westerly 191 degrees 20 minutes 30 seconds for a distance of 162:} links, to the point of commencement,—and containing an area of 1 rood 27f;, perches.

All that piece or parcel of land situate at Paddington, in the parish (d‘ Alexandria, county of Cumberland, and Colony of Now South Wales, being portion of the lands resumed for sewerage purposes by Government Gazettes No. 153, dated 8th Ajiril, 1881, and No. 422, dated 21st October, 1881: Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundar.y of said sewerage resnmi)tion, being the south-eastern corner of Stei)hc‘n-strcet, one chain wide; and bounded on the north-east by Stephen-street, being a line portion of aforesaid boundary of sewerage resnmi)tion bearing north 63 degrees 27 niinuti's west 100] links; on the north-west by a lino bearing south 15 degrees 28 minutes west 1551 links; on the south-we.st by Stephen-street, 50 links wide, being a line portion of the south-western boundary of the aforesaid sewerage resumption bearing south 63 degrees 27 minutes east 50 links; and on the south-east by a line bearing north 34 degrees 9 minutes oast 154 liidcs, to the point of commencement,—and containing an area of 18Ay perches or thereabouts.

All that piece or parcel of land situated near Rushcutter’s Bay, in the parish of Alexandria, county of Cumberland, and Colony of Now South Wales, containing an area of 3‘23 perches, and forming part of the land resumed for sewerage purposes in Government Gazettes of 8th April, 1881, Xo. 153, and 21st October, 1881, No. 422: Commencing on the south side of Bayswater Road, at the north-east corner of the said resumption; and bounded thence on the south-east by a lino which forms part of the south-east boundary of the resumption bearing south 29 degrees 47 minutes west for l,346i links; on the south-west by a line bearing north 60 degrees 13 minutes west for links; thence on the nortli-west by a line bearing north 29 degrees 47 minutes cast along the south-east boundary of a proposed road 1 chain wide for 1,346 links to Ba.yswater Road; thence on the north-east by Bayswater Road as aligned bearing south 78 degrees 28 minutes east for 1 j“o links, to the point of commencement.
