Local Courts Act 1982

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 6 of the Local Courts Act 1982, do, by this my Order, abolish the St James Local Court, being the Local Court established by Order published in the Gazette on 23 November 1979.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to abolish the Local Court at St James. This court closed on 13 November 2006 and its records were transferred to the new Children’s Court at 2 George Street, Parramatta.
