Order regarding volunteers taking part in emergency operations
under the
State Emergency and Rescue Management Act 1989
I, Mike Baird MP, Premier of the State of New South Wales, pursuant to section 60D of the State Emergency and Rescue Management Act 1989, do, by this my Order, direct that the provisions of Part 3A of that Act apply to emergency operations in connection with the storm and rainfall events of April 2015 in the following local government areas:
Ashfield, City of Auburn, Bankstown City, Blacktown City, Blue Mountains City, Botany Bay City, Burwood, Camden, Campbelltown City, Canada Bay, Canterbury City, Cessnock City, Dungog, Fairfield City, Gloucester, Gosford City, Great Lakes, Hawkesbury City, Holroyd City, Hornsby, Hunter’s Hill, Hurstville City, Kiama, City of Kogarah, Ku-ring-gai, Lake Macquarie City, Lane Cove, Leichhardt, City of Lithgow, Liverpool City, Liverpool Plains, Maitland City, Manly, Marrickville, Mosman, Newcastle City, North Sydney, Parramatta City, Penrith City, Pittwater, Port Stephens, Randwick City, Rockdale City, Ryde City, Shellharbour City, Shoalhaven City, Singleton, Strathfield, Sutherland Shire, City of Sydney, The Hills Shire, Upper Hunter Shire, Warringah, Waverley, Wollongong City, Woollahra, Wyong.
This Order remains in force until the end of 23 May 2015.
