Order regarding volunteers taking part

in emergency operations

under the

State Emergency and Rescue Management Act 1989

I, Barry Robert O’Farrell MP, Premier of the State of New South Wales, pursuant to section 60D of the State Emergency and Rescue Management Act 1989, do, by this my Order, direct that the provisions of Part 3A of that Act apply to emergency operations carried out in connection with the storm and rainfall events of 22–24 February 2013 in the following local government areas:

Ballina, Bellingen, Byron, Camden, Clarence Valley, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey,
Kiama, Nambucca, Port Macquarie-Hastings, Randwick.
This Order remains in force until the end of 28 March 2013.
