Queensland Subordinate Legislation 1991 No. 53 ————— Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements Act 1982 ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Executive Building, Brisbane, the fifteenth day of August, 1991 Present: His Excellency the Governor in Council His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and under section 47 of the Statutory Bodies FinancialArrangements Act 1982 , declares that all the provisions of Part IV of the Act (other than the provisions specified in section 47(2) apply, without limit of time, in respect of the Queensland Industry Development Corporation constituted under the Queensland Industry Development Corporation Act1985 to enable the Queensland Industry Development Corporation to enter into and perform the financial arrangements specified in the Schedule. And the Honourable the Treasurer is to give the necessary directions herein accordingly. E. J. BIGBY, Clerk of the Council —————— SCHEDULE 1. Any transactions for the purpose of managing or varying financial returns or managing or varying financial or currency risks (including, but not limited to, currency exchange rate, interest rate, discount rate, volatility or other risks).

Any transactions for the purpose of returning a gain or avoiding a loss by reference to currency obligations, currency exchange rate movements, or interest or discount rate movements. 3. Any transactions connected with currency obligations, currency exchange rate movements, or interest or discount rate movements for the purpose of enhancing the financial position of the Queensland Industry Development Corporation.
