Queensland Subordinate Legislation 1991 No. 72 ————— ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Executive Building, Brisbane, the twelfth day of September, 1991 Present: The Deputy Governor, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor in Council THE Deputy Governor, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and under section 33(2) of the State Housing Act 1945 — 1. varies the rate per centum per annum of the interest payable in respect of an advance made, and the purchasing price payable under a contract of sale entered into, under the Act under the Flexible Term Loan Scheme, by reducing the rate per centum per annum prescribed by order in council made under the Act on 23 May 1991 and published in the Gazette on 25 May 1991 at page 402, from 13.5 per centum per annum to 12.9 per centum per annum; and 2. prescribes 12.9 per centum per annum to be the interest rate payable in respect of every advance made, and the purchasing price payable under every contract of sale entered into, where — (a) the advance is made or the contract of sale is entered into — (i) under section 23, 23A or 24 of the Act; and (ii) under the Interest Subsidy Scheme; and (b) in respect whereof an application was or is completed — (i) after 31 July 1982 and up to and including 30 April 1986; (ii) after 30 April 1986; and 3. varies the rate per centum per annum of the interest payable in

2 Order under State Housing Act 1945 respect of an advance made, and the purchasing price payable under a contract of sale entered into, under the Act under the Commercial Loan Scheme, by reducing the rate per centum per annum prescribed by order in council made under the Act on 23 May 1991, being the last appearing of the four orders in council made under the Act and published in the Gazette on 25 May 1991 at page 402, from 13.5 per centum per annum to 12.9 per centum per annum; and 4. specifies that this order in council commences on 1 October 1991.
