Queensland Subordinate Legislation 1991 No. 49 District Courts Act 1967 ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Executive Building, Brisbane, the fifteenth day of August, 1991 Present: His Excellency the Governor in Council HIS Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of the District Courts Act 1967 , hereby determines that on and from 1 September 1991, the fees to be paid in respect of civil proceedings in a District Court and the purposes for which and the documents in relation to which those fees are to be paid are as set out in the Schedule. And the Honourable the Minister for Justice and Corrective Services is to give the necessary directions herein accordingly. E. J. Unless otherwise indicated, Part 2 applies to all civil proceedings commenced on or after 1 October 1982.

The amount actually and reason- ably incurred in the discretion of the Registrar 35. *A deposit on account of the fees applicable to any proceeding under warrant may be required by the Registrar before the proceeding is commenced, or at any time during the course of the proceeding, and a memorandum of the amount deposited is to be delivered to the party making the deposit.
