AN ACT to amend the Ord River Dam Catchment

Area (Straying Cattle) Act 1967.

[Assented to 5 November 1984.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Ord River	and principal

(2) In this Act the Ord River Dam Catchment

of 1967 as

amended by

Area (Straying Cattle) Act 1967 is referred to as	Act No. 56
the principal Act.	of 1969.

Section 3

amended. 2. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (la) the following subsection

C' (lb) Notwithstanding the provisions of

any other Act or law, the property in and right to possession of any cattle that are, on or after 1 January 1985, at large any- where within the area of land described in Part III of the Schedule, are vested in the Crown, and any such cattle may be dealt with or disposed of in such manner as the Minister from time to time directs. ".

Schedule

amended. 3. The Schedule to the principal Act is amended

by adding after Part II the following Part

PART III.

All that area of land on the shores of Lake Argyle being more particularly delineated within the red border on Lands and Surveys Miscellaneous Plan 1465 Sheets A and B.

Lands and Surveys Public Plans: Deception Range NE 1:25 000, Burt Range NW 1:25 000, Cambridge Gulf 1:250 000 and Lissadell 1:250 000. ".
