Works Act, 1900, tlu ̂ Legislative Assembly did by resolution declare that it was expedi('nt to carry out a certain rvork, namely, the carryini^ out of a sclierne of sewerage for the municipalily of Orange; And whereas, on the passing of the said resolution, a statutory duty was by the said Act imposed on the Secretary for l^uhlie Works to introduce a Bill into the said Assembly to sanction the carrying out of file said woi-k : Be it tlierefore enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Alajesty, by and with th(> advice and consent of the Legis lative Couiudl and Legislative Assembly of N('w South Mhales in Parliament asscmihled, and by the authority of th.c same', as follows:—

I'his Act mav be cited as the “ Orange Sewerage Act, in the Scheduh' to this Act, is hereby sanctioned, and the Secretary for Public IVorks, or the member of the Executivf' Council for the time being performing the duties of the said Secretaiy, is hereby authorised to undertake and carry out the said rvorks, subject to the ])rovisions of this Act, and for that purpose shall he and shall have the powers and duties of a Constructing Authority within the meaning of the Public AVorks Act, 1900. | 1910.” | * | ^ |
