OPTOMETRISTS REGISTRATION BOARD AMENDMENT

RULES 1993

Made by The Optometrists Registration Board and approved by His

Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation
1. These rules may be cited as the Optometrists Registration Board

31 December 19931 GOVERNMENT GAZE1 1E, WA 6887

Rule 30 amended

2.     Rule 30 (1) of the Optometrists Registration Board Rules 1941* is

amended by deleting paragraphs (c), (d) and (e) and substituting the

following —

and

(c)

in relation to qualifications from any country other than Australia and New Zealand —

(i)	a degree in optometry;
(ii)	current registration with a Board of Optometrical Registration or its equivalent in that country; and
(iii)	a certified pass mark in an examination approved by the Board for foreign trained optometrists.

Passed by a resolution of The Optometrists Registration Board at a meeting

of the Board held on 1993.
