Optometrists Registration Act 1958
Optometrists (Fees) Regulations 1996
The Governor in Council approves the making of the
following Regulations by the Optometrists Registration
Board:

The Optometrists Registration Board makes the following
Regulations:Dated:18 November 1996

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to increase
the fees for registration payable to the
Optometrists Registration Board.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 8, 14
and 26 of the Optometrists Registration Act
1958.Optometrists (Fees) Regulations 1996

3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1
December 1996.
4. Regulation 401 substituted
For regulation 401 of the Optometrists
Regulations 19921 substitute—
"401. Prescribed fees
The fees to be paid to the Board are—
(a) for an application for
registration $220
(b) for the annual fee under
section 14(3) of the Act $208
(c) for restoration to the
register $66 (d) for the issue of a
certificate (other than
an original certificate of
registration) $50
(e) for a copy of the
register $50
(f) for an extract from the
register $5."
