s1 2 s4 Optometrists Amendment (No. 1) No. 407, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This by-law may be cited as the Optometrists Amendment By-law (No. 1) 1996 . ˙ By-law amended 2. This by-law amends the Optometrists By-law 1996 . ˙ Insertion of new s 20 3. After section 19— insert— ˙ ‘ When annual licence fee must be paid ‘ 20.(1) A person who is already registered as an optometrist at the beginning of a year, or becomes registered in January of a year, must pay the annual licence fee for the year on or before 31 January in the year. ‘ (2) A person who is not registered as an optometrist in January of a year, but applies to be registered in the year, must pay the annual licence fee for the year with the registration fee. ‘ (3) If a person is registered as an optometrist in December of a year, the annual licence fee for the following year is waived.’. ˙ Amendment of schedule (Fees) 4.(1) Schedule, item 5, ‘130.00’— omit, insert — ‘132.00’. (2) Schedule, item 7, ‘75.00’— omit, insert — ‘76.00’.
