AN ACT to amend the Optometrists Act, 1940-1965,

and for incidental and other purposes.

[Assented to 18th November, 1966.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Optometrists 2(drctiattlieon.

4. Section three of the principal Act is

amended

(a)

by adding after the interpretation, "Min- ister", the following interpretation

"Optical dispensing" has the same meaning as is from time to time ascribed thereto by the Optical Dispensers Act, 1966. ;

(b)

by adding after the word, "spectacles- making" being the last word in the interpretation, "Optometrist", the words, "or a person engaged only in optical dispensing"; and

(c)

by adding after the word, "include" in the interpretation, "Optometry", the words, "optical dispensing or".
