AN ACT to amend the Optometrists Act,
1940-1947.
[Assented to 27th November, 1951.]
RE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Optometrists Act Short title.
Amendment Act, 1951, and shall be read as one with the Optometrists Act, 1940-1947 (Act No. 33 of 1940, as amended by Acts Nos. 44 of 1944 and 28 of 1947), referred to in this Act as the principal Act.
2. The principal Act, as amended by this Act, ligigget

amended by adding after the word, "persons" in line two of paragraph (e) of subsection (1) the words, "and for the issue of diplomas to persons passing the examinations".
4. Subsection (3) of section thirty-six of the Ulm/ed.
principal Act is amended by substituting for all words between the word, "be" in line two and the word, "as" in line four, the words, "such sum not exceeding six pounds six shillings".
