AN ORDINANCE
To amend the Optometrists Ordinance 1956-1957. J THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Common-, wealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government {Administration) Act 1910-1955. Dated this twenty-eighth day of August, 1958.

OPTOMETRISTS ORDINANCE 1958.
1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Optometrists Short title
Ordinance 1958.* a„d citation.
(2.) The Optometrists Ordinance 1956-1957f is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3 . ) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordi-
nance, may be cited as the Optometrists Ordinance 1956-1958.
4103/58.—PRICE 3D. 2. Section sixteen of the Principal Ordinance is amended- Persons
entitled to( A ) by omitting from paragraph (h) of sub-section registration.
(1 . ) the word " or ", last occurring; and
(b) by adding at the end of sub-section (1.) the follow-
ing word and paragraph:—
" or (d) he had, during the whole of the period of five years ending on the day immediately preceding the date of commencement of this
Ordinance, been practising optometry in the Territory.".

No person 3. Section twenty-nineofthe Principal.Ordinance is amended renter's" by omitting from sub-section (2'.) the words " one month " to£^tte? and inserting in their stead the words " twelve months ". optometry.
