AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Optometrists	Ordinance 1956-1957.
J THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Common-, wealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal	Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under
the Seat of Government {Administration) Act 1910-1955.

OPTOMETRISTS ORDINANCE 1958.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Optometrists Short title

Ordinance 1958.* a„d citation.

(2.) The Optometrists Ordinance 1956-1957f is in this

Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3 . ) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordi-

nance, may be cited as the Optometrists Ordinance 1956-1958.

2. Section sixteen of the Principal Ordinance is amended-	Persons entitled to

( A ) by omitting from paragraph (h) of sub-section registration.

(1 . ) the word " or ", last occurring; and
(b) by adding at the end of sub-section (1.) the follow-

ing word and paragraph:—

" or (d) he had, during the whole of the period of five years ending on the day immediately preceding the date of commencement of this

Ordinance, been practising

optometry in the Territory.".
