1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Opal Mining (Fees) Variation Regulations 2019.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2019.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

Schedule 1—delete the Schedule and substitute:

1	Application for the issue or renewal of a precious stones prospecting permit	$89.50
2	Application for the issue of a duplicate precious stones prospecting permit	$17.60
3	Application for the issue of—
(a)    a set of identification plates (other than the first set of plates)	$9.55

4	Application for the registration of—
(a)    a small precious stones claim	$52.50
(b)    a large precious stones claim	$105.00
(c)     an extra large precious stones claim	$158.00
