Ombudsman Regulations2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Ombudsman Act 1976.

 Regulation 7 of the Ombudsman Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Allowances

“7.

For the purposes of sub-section 24 (2) of the Act, the following allowances are prescribed, namely:

  • (a)

    in relation to the Ombudsman—the allowances payable to an officer included in the First Division of the Australian Public Service;

  • (b)

    in relation to a Deputy Ombudsman—the allowances payable to an officer included in the Second Division of the Australian Public Service.”.
