Ombudsman Regulations 2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Ombudsman Act 1976.

1. Commencement

1.1 Subregulations 4.1, 4.5, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6 and 6.7 commence on the commencement of Part 4 of the Australian and Overseas Telecommunications Corporation Act 1991.

[NOTE: The remainder of these Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48.]

2. Amendment

2.1 The Ombudsman Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Schedule 1 (Bodies that are not to be taken to be prescribed authorities for the purposes of the Act)

3.1 Omit the Schedule, substitute:
