Ombudsman Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Ombudsman Act 1976.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Ombudsman Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Bodies not to be taken to be prescribed authorities for the Act)

3.1   Add at the end:

 “(2) For paragraph 3AB (1) (b) of the Act, the nominated company for Part 2 of the Health Insurance Commission (Reform and Separation of Functions) Act 1997 is to be taken not to be a prescribed authority.”.
