OMBUDSMAN REGULATIONS 2009

Regulations under the Ombudsman Act 2009

1Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Ombudsman Regulations 2009.

2Commencement

These Regulations commence on the commencement of the Ombudsman Act 2009.

3Expenses
  • (1)

    This regulation applies to a person who appears before the Ombudsman for an investigation.

  • (2)

    The person is entitled to be paid the actual expenses reasonably incurred by the person for:

    • (a)

      travel to and from the place the person is required to appear; and

    • (b)

      accommodation and sustenance while the person is required to be absent from his or her usual place of residence.
