MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 41 (3) of the Ombudsman Act 1974, make the following Proclamation.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to include the Audit Office of New South Wales as a relevant agency under the Ombudsman Act 1974. This will enable the Audit Office to enter into arrangements with other relevant agencies under the Act in relation to the referral of complaints, or the sharing of any information, between the agencies.
