Oilseeds Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration, pursuant to sub-section 9 (2) of the Oilseeds Levy Act 1977,any relevant recommendation made to the Minister of State for Primary Industry by the Grains Council of Australia with respect to the making of regulations for the purposes of section 6 of that Act, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1986.

2. The Oilseeds Levy Regulations are amended by adding at the end the following regulation:

Rate of levy

“4. For the purposes of section 6 of the Act, the rate of levy in respect of leviable oilseeds is $1.35 per tonne.”.
